TRACK THE TRENDS
It’s beginning to look a lot like ‘List-mas’
New property listings hit a six-month high in October, driving a pending sale boost that just might turn around 2023’s mediocre market. At this rate, November is likely to give buyers (and their agents) even more to be thankful for.
Check out last month’s market stats:
Active listings rose 1.4% to the highest level since May.
More than 1 in 3 sellers offered concessions for expenses like repairs and closing costs.
Almost 21% of sold homes had at least one price drop—nearly a record high.
Looking ahead, there’s a good chance falling interest rates and growing inventory will fuel a buyer bounce-back worth watching.
