Luke, I am your warning sign.

Not long ago, in a county not far away (from downtown Houston), there lives a deep breath of a home…. One that resembles an infamous Sith Lord:

You can’t tell me this 4-bed, 5 full-bath, contemporary $3.4 million property doesn’t kinda resemble Darth Vader’s mask. Like, it’s uncanny.

While its exterior resembles a science-fiction empire, the interior reminds me of a different 1980s cult classic…

This living room feels like the Deitz household in Beetlejuice; It’s artistic, a bit creepy, and a touch too sterile.

These grand floating staircases frame the perfect space for entertaining. I mean, even the upstairs nook could be used as a makeshift DJ booth -shoutout to the realtor for that clever idea!

All of the kitchen appliances appear more aesthetic than functional. Although I believe that the flush cabinetry and torture-device-looking wine holder do serve their purpose, their presence is, above all, alarming.

At long last, the museum – sorry, the primary bedroom suite. Not only does the tactile black flooring chop its way through the room, but also into the shower!

These waterfall sinks are cool, and I guess a bathroom barstool counter is too…?

Conflicting thoughts spur about this room overall. On one hand, the artistic theming of the home almost makes me not want to use the room. It’s almost too perfect, too crafted. On the other hand, I’d fear for my privacy. Aside from the windows upon windows, the vaulted ceilings reveal a public balcony that overlooks the room. I don’t want to be an exhibit for guests that stay at my house!

Before we head outside, let’s do some window appreciation! Because this home has some gorgeous ones.

The border of skylights, pentagonal floor-to-ceiling, and a mosaic of glass together.

Outback reveals something I never expected from the home’s exterior: it’s not as large as it leads on.

Don’t get me wrong, the entire home sits on a corner plot of  0.41 acres, yet I was not expecting an L-shaped home from such a grand facade!

Something I must note: I’m not a fan of this pool. It looks like something you’d find on a corporate retreat. And that’s the opposite of relaxing.
