IT REALLY TIES THE ROOM TOGETHER

One of my biggest design DON’Ts is not having a rug to anchor a room. Well specifically a living room or bedroom. You can’t just leave your sofa out there, floating in space; what the heck! Rugs do so many things, from protecting your floors to muffling sound. They add warmth, they feel nice on the feet, and they connect all your pieces together. 

So, it’s established—you need a rug. You need a good rug, a well made rug, an affordable rug, and don't forget, you need the right-sized rug, so let’s go! How many times can I say RUG???
